MEDirections is pleased to invite you to a discussion with the creators of the Egyptian film “Happily Ever After”. The film describes the love story of the filmmaker, who falls in love amid the turmoil of recent political events in Egypt. When her boyfriend decides to leave the country because of the deteriorating social and political conditions, she does everything she can to convince him to stay. The escalating tension puts her own commitment to remain in the country to the test. The complicated love story poses the question: is there still hope in Egypt?”

Some parts of the film will be shown during the seminar, followed by a discussion.
